The multi-award winning Wolverton Park development has landed the company behind it, Places for People, yet another prestigious award, this time on the world stage. Wolverton Park beat off stiff competition from across the world to land the Urban Land Institute Global Award for Excellence, at a ceremony in Los Angeles. It was the only British winner and picked up the prize alongside four other developments – three in America, and one in Singapore.

Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy a walk along Milton Keynes newest landmark, the Brooklands Ridge, as part of the celebrations for the opening of the new Brooklands Meadows Park and Play Area.

Staff working on the Brooklands development won their 1st cricket match last week. Having come so close in other recent matches it was a great relief to get into winning ways.

Residents of new development, Brooklands in Milton Keynes, will benefit from amongst the best available broadband speeds in the country, at some of the keenest prices. The development is unusual in that high speed fibre optic cable is not only being installed from the exchange to the junction box on the site, but also from the box to individual homes.

MP Mark Lancaster has paid a visit to the City's newest development. The member for Milton Keynes North visited Brooklands in January 2011.

Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce has awarded the Operational Excellence Award to Places for People, developer of Brooklands and Wolverton Park.

The first new homes at Brooklands, Milton Keynes’ most exciting new property development have been launched (Saturday 11th September). Brooklands, from developer Places for People, is set to become more than simply a place to live, Brooklands is also a place to work and play with three new schools, businesses and lush green spaces also situated throughout the 360 acre site.
